Caring for Your Keepsake

Every piece we create is designed to last a lifetime. With a little care, your floral keepsake or resin item will remain beautiful for years to come.

Protect From Direct Sunlight

  • We use high quality, UV-resistant resin, but prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may cause gradual ambering over time.
  • To preserve clarity and appearance, keep your pieces out of sustained direct sunlight.
  • Consider displaying your keepsake in shaded areas or away from windows with strong sun exposure.

Cleaning & Care

  • Resin is durable and scratch-resistant, but not complete scratch-proof.
  • Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials
  • Gently wipe with a soft microfibre cloth.

Extra Tips:

  • Do not use alcohol, acetone, or bleach on your piece
  • Always handle with clean hands to prevent oils or dirt transferring to the surface.

Food Safety

  • Do not place hot food or drinks directly onto resin surfaces.
  • Use a serviette, napkin, or barrier under any food.
  • Food should be fully prepared, cut, or cooled before contact with the resin.

Extra Tips:

  • Avoid acidic foods on resin, as they may dull or mark the surface.
  • Wipe immediately if any food or liquid spills on resin.

Protect From Heat

  • Do not expose resin pieces to extreme heat.
  • If a piece becomes warm, place it on a flat surface at room temperature to cool before handling.
  • resin pieces are not microwave-safe or dishwasher-safe.

Extra Tips:

  • Keep pieces away from radiators, ovens or hot windowsills.
  • Avoid placing pieces under heavy objects, as resin can warp under pressure if heated.

Display Tips for Longevity

  • Place keepsakes in stable areas, avoiding high traffic zones to reduce accidental knocks.
  • Avoid areas with high humidity, such as bathrooms, as moisture can affect the natural flowers inside.
  • Rotate your pieces occasionally to prevent uneven light exposure.

Handling & Moving

  • Always lift resin pieces from the base, never by delicate edges or flower-filled sections.
  • Handle with care to prevent scratches or accidental drops.
